Hey Rich,
To accomplish this, you should simply be able to double click on the Document Type Name in OnBase configuration and a dialog will be presented to update it. Please note however, if this is part of the Auto Name string and they are wanting to update this as well, you will need to use the option to rename existing documents (which can take some time if there are a large number of documents).
