When searching for a doc, I need to enter the complete date "07012014" in the date keyword.  How do I set it so I can enter "7/1/14" or "7-1-14" to fill in the date?  I know this can be done, just not sure how.

Much Thanks,
Melissa

Melissa,

Thanks for your question. Could you clarify which OnBase Client/module you are using when entering the date?

thanks,
Doug

Hi Doug,

I'm using Thick Client.  However, I just tested in Unity and it works. Is this a limitation in Thick Client only?

Thanks for your help,

Melissa

Melissa,

Thanks for the additional information. I believe we can restate your question as:

Can the Thick Client be configured to not require leading zeros when entering a date? This would mean a user could type 7/1/2014 and have it be correctly entered into the keyword value.

Unfortunately, I am not able to answer your question, but I will get in contact with appropriate group and get you an answer.

thanks,
Doug

I don't believe you can do this in standard retrieval, but if you really want to, you could build an HTML-form based custom query to do it.
