Convert File Type for Email

Hello,

Thick Client does not allow users to convert .CTX files dynamically to other formats when selected.

Is there a way to invoke the File Conversion process when a user selects a Document in the Document Search Results list to Email the Document.

 Some of reports are up to 225 columns wide and the docs are more manageable as a .PDF vs .CTX when a customer receives the attachment.

Hi Lulu,

It sounds like you are referring to the Advanced Mail options that allow image documents to be converted to pdf when e-mailed.

Generally, the Advanced Mail options are only available for images in Search Results list or an open document but we enable the options for text documents when it includes a note and the document is open.
