Check Keyword Value on this document.

Hi,

I am trying to differentiate a doc type by the doc id sequence number, my problem comes where I have two doc sequences starting 9.

sequence 1: 9000000

sequence 2: 91000000

It seems the only two wild cards avaiable are = or <>, can this list be expanded to >, <, etc.

Or can anybody think of another way round this.

Cheers

James

In order to do >, >=, <, and <= comparisons using that rule, the keyword must be Numeric format (Numeric 9 or Numeric 20).

If your keyword is alphanumeric, you only have = and <> options, so my guess is you are dealing with an alphanumeric keyword. It's possible to work with your technical support to change keyword format, but it's kind of a pain. One workaround you could try is to copy the keyword values to properties (using the "Prop - Set Property Value" action) and then compare the properties using the "Prop - Compare Two Properties" rule. I'm not sure if it will work, but you can give it a try pretty easily.
