Advanced Mail Default Options

Can the default option of "Default Format" be changed to one of the other options available at the workstation/user level or as a global setting?

Thank you for your post!

Unfortunately, the "Default Format" option for Advanced Mail options cannot be changed at the workstation or global level.  The option can only be changed at the Document level (only when the document is sent via Send To | Mail).

In addition to above post, all Mail options are per Document when performing a Send To | Mail.

Thanks for the information. We were hoping to have the 40bit PDF option be the default so that document that were externally mailed were secure when being sent without depending on the end-user to remember to select the option. We will likely submit this as an enhancement request through our reseller.

There is actually already an SCR outstanding for this functionality.  Let your first line of support know that you would like to be added to SCR 143364.
