EP5 on Mobile Device - Unity form not displayed in a useable fashion

We are currently on OnBase Mobile 17 and are upgrading to EP5 in a few weeks.  With the new EP5 Mobile App, our coding form view is not user friendly, it's completely bunched up on the iPhone.  Much different user experience than what we are seeing with Mobile 17.  On the iPad, it's better, but most of our employees are utilizing the mobile app on their iPhone for coding and approval. Do you know if there is anything we can do to present the form on the iPhone to be the same user experience as Mobile 17?  We are moving to a 19C database, so we are forced to upgrade to the EP5 mobile version.

Hi @Carrie Sorrells  and @Tia Brott-Silkett,

I see that your Case with Hyland Support has been solved.   I am posting the resolution here so other community members can see the solution given to you:

Resolution

Changes were made to how Unity Forms display in Mobile devices in 21.1.13.1000+.

After setting "UnityFormsToggleMaxFormWidth" to false (which is default) in the AppServer web.config, confirmed forms were displaying in a usable format.

If solved your issue, please press the "ACCEPT ANSWER" button here. This will reassure other community members that they can rely on this solution in case they have the same situation.

Thanks!

Yes, the 21.1.13.1000 solved the main issue for us. I want to thank Hyland R&D for a quick turnaround on this issue which turned into an upgrade showstopper for us.

Couple of notes: we ended up deploying in a hybrid environment as we had already completed user testing against 21.1.8.1000. Therefore, we installed MobileBroker and AppServer 21.1.13.1000 specifically for mobile. We did leave AppServer setting "UnityFormsToggleMaxFormWidth" to true as we had previously set that for optimal form layout in Unity and found that it was the better option for our form in mobile as well.

In the end we also had some form field ordering issues even with the fix, but our FLOS was critical in helping us make some adjustments so that the form layout is now acceptable in all clients. (Unity, Web, Mobile)
