Processing batches containing large volumes of documents

We are processing a large volume of image documents through an Awaiting Ad-Hoc OCR queue within a scan queue.  The Thick Client process is running with the -SCANAUTOOCR -SCANAUTOQUEUE:0 switches.  We have set the AutoProcessDelay INI setting to 60 seconds and the OCRRestartLimit setting is 1000 in the INI file.  The process is running, but it is processing far less than 1000 images each time it runs (every 60 seconds).  Do we need to increase the AutoProcessDelay INI setting to allow it to process 1000 images?  Is there some "rule-of-thumb" for setting the INI settings to optimize the process?

Hi Stephen - We are having performance issue with large documents (1000 pages).  Please advise if you were abl to find a way to optimize the process.
