We’ve lost several key builders of our Epic/OnBase connection. When someone uses Media Manager from Epic and clicks the ‘Scan’ button, the Front Office Scanning appears. Depending on the level that had been selected in Media Manager, certain document types appear in the list on the left (as configured in the FOS xml document type. There is a ‘ANY DOCUMENT’ defined as a document type. When ‘ANY DOCUMENT’ is selected, after the document has been scanned, ‘Document Information’ dialog box appears and a ‘Document Type’ drop down list is available. Where is the list of documents that appear on the list built?

The list of document types displayed in this scenario is the list of document type(s) passed out from the Epic context (as configured in Epic) that have matching document type names in OnBase that the current OnBase user account is allowed to access.

So, how are the document types configured in Epic? Do you know what team configures them? I handle all the interface configurations from Epic and it does not seem to be done there. [quote user="Leslie "]
