Workview Object Attribute for Placeholders

Hello,

Are there any gotchas I need to know when using Workview Attributes as placeholders within Doc Comp?

Or any advice anyone would like to share on doing this?

When you migrate the document templates from one environment to another, the attribute ids are lost and will map to whatever attribute id matches in the new environment. It will be necessary to remap the placeholders to the attributes in the new environment.

I know formatted text does not work when being used as a placeholder. The other tip I would say is when setting up the placeholders, attributes will not show as their display name, but their Attribute name, so if you are only familiar with the display names or they greatly vary from the attribute name, this could lead to confusion.
