When using the Image statements module to render statements that are PDF documents performance is extremely slow and instead of one document the batch is rendered as dozens of individual documents. What is causing this behavior?

When implementing PDF files in the Image Statements module they are printed using their external viewer because OnBase cannot print these files without Adobe reader.  This process results in the creation of the extra individual documents which cannot be combined into one statement because the PDF files are processed differently than the TIFF files.

If the PDF files are converted into TIFF files before rendering it will significantly increase the rendering speed. It is correct to assume that multiple conversions affect the quality of the image. In OnBase version 10.0 we have added some additional code to the conversion process that will enhance the output of the file in spite of multiple conversions.
