Hi Team,
Hope everyone is doing well.
I have the below requirement and would like to get some ideas to achieve this.
We are planning to create an option in Doc Comp for one of our internal dept. uses.
They need to prepare a "cover letter" and details of the "schedules" in a single document. Both the contents will be already stored in OnBase (unity client).
We have decided to configure the "Cover Letter" as a template in Doc Comp. So users can open the template and update the content. But at the end of the "cover letter" they need to paste the details of the "schedules" which are available in the other document.
Currently users are opening the "Schedules" document and copying the data (ctrl+a, ctrl+c). Then they are opening the "Cover Letter" (by using Doc Comp) and paste the data at the end of the template. Finally they edit/update the "Cover Letter" template and save the final document.
Is there any way we can get the content (from "Schedules") and update in the "cover letter" without manually being copied by the users.
Your help and ideas are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
With Regards
LMK

Sounds like you are trying to do what Document Packets already does.
