Hyland Desktop Host for Document Composition

Has anyone on Version EP3 tried opening Document Composition Templates in HTML Web Client using the new Hyland Desktop Host?

Set it up per MRG but receive error "There was a problem loading the Hyland Desktop Host" Also doesn't seem to work in Workflow only Retrieval.

Finally have this working with both Chrome and Edge. Took some time and help from Greg Cieslik at Tech Quest.

Its all about getting the setting to align.

First, make sure whitelist has correct URLs. For me it looked like this: 

{"WhitelistedAddress": [ "https://www.mydomain.com", "http://127.0.0.1:8080", "http://localhost", "https://UrltoOnbaseWebclient.mydomain.com" ] }

Then had to make some minor changes to the Compose workflow action.

Selected Override Template settings, checked Force Preview and Disable Import Dialog.

After this, Word template pops up for editing when adhoc task is selected.  

Unfortunately, Composition Preview Print and Redo buttons are no longer available.

After uninstalling Hyland Desktop Host, Rebooting, then reinstalling, it is now working.

Additionally though, It appears to only work in Document retrieval and not while in workflow?

I'm sorry to hear that you were having issues with the Desktop Host, but I am glad that you were able to get it working. 

The Preview/Edit functionality is supported in Workflow with the use of the Compose Document action. If this is not working for you, please reach out to your first line of support so that we can gather additional information and provide assistance.

Hi, i have the same issue, i executed an ad hoc task in workflow that compose a document and at the moment of showing a preview of the document, it showed the message "There was a problem loading the Hyland Desktop Host".
