Is there a way to create an HTTP document URL (not a UPOP URL)?

Hi Andy

Did you check out DocPop?

(extract from the MRG)

Overview
DocPop is a document retrieval tool that is included with the OnBase Web Server. DocPop
allows internal or external Web sites to integrate custom Web pages with the Web Server’s
querying and document viewing mechanisms. OnBase system administrators can configure a
custom Web page for each user or a group of users. DocPop can, for example, allow the
administrator to ensure that a particular Web user can only see documents of a certain type,
containing certain keywords, or between certain dates.

When a Web page integrates with DocPop, the page displays a custom link or an embedded
frame that links to the set of DocPop pages on the OnBase Web Server. When the user clicks
the link or views the page, a query passed through the query string or form post is processed,
and a hit list of documents in the query result set is displayed to the user. Once a document is
selected from the hit list, the document is displayed in the ActiveX or HTML document viewer
(depending on how the query was designed).

Emailing DocPop Links
The Web Client allows users with sufficient privileges to email DocPop links without requiring
the DocPop URL Creator. For more information, see Emailing DocPop Links from the Web Client
on page 22.

Unity Client
The Unity Client also can leverage DocPop. When properly configured, the Unity Client allows
users to email documents as DocPop links. Depending on the DocPop authentication method,
this practice can limit document access only to users with sufficient privileges. See the Unity
Client module reference guide for more information.

Licensing
DocPop requires a Web Server license and a valid Client license.
For Unity Client licensing, see the Unity Client module reference guide.
Check your current licensing status by selecting Utils | Product Licenses from the
Configuration module.

Best regards

Martin
