1) Migrating existing SAP attachments to OnBase
Users were taught to attach a supporting document (quotes, SOWs) to a Requisition as part of the process and these are now stored directly in SAP repository on disk. This document can be different types: WORD, PDF, Excel. Is there a way to configure and migrate these documents with some type of meta data out of SAP (ie the Requisition SAP Doc ID).
We would like to migrate all the SAP Requisition attachments to OnBase and generate the archivelink for viewing them after migration.
Reading the MRG now and it is not real clear on what is needed.
2) Replace current process to upload attachment to SAP to use archivelink and storage in OnBase (Requisitions)
SAP PO PDF and Idoc message output are currently configured and working. The issue is the Requisition process is very different as the user is in control of the supporting document at Req creation time.
What process and configuration is used to capture an attachment being added to SAP Requisition and process through to OnBase with the archivelink values added for retrieval? There is no IDOC created for BIC config mapping. This would have to trigger on saving the requisition and be able to capture Purchase Requisition doc number generated.
Where do I start?
Really appreciate anyone sharing their experience and knowledge.
