Maps Documents: dynamically display OnBase documents on an Esri map

This new OnBase Web Server - Esri Portal integration is so much more than simply displaying documents on a map, but the visual representation of the data provides business intelligence and location analytics…enabling user to make informed decisions.

Ease of user experience: User clicks from any document or hitlist to "Send To | Map”, dynamically displaying selected items on an interactive Esri map (anywhere in the world)! Additionally, a user can hover over pinpoint(s) to get document autoname, and click hyperlink to view document.

Make it happen!

Software/licensing:

  1. Web Server
  2. Integration for Esri
  3. Esri account: must have either an AGOL (ArcGIS Online) account or an Esri Portal account - 30 day free trials of AGOL are available at http://www.arcgis.com

Configuration/installation:

  1. “Geolocation” checkbox selected on Document Type(s), include Address keywords (Street Address, City, State, Zip) - international too!
  2. Web Server (HTML only)
  3. Application Server
  4. Esri ArcGIS runtime SDK, installed locally - this is free and located on Esri’s site
