Need to create an unalterable view of a Dashboard, Dashboard Item or Report? Reporting Dashboards has a few options to convert the current view into a number of different file formats.
The “Print” button isn’t just for printing to paper. From the “Actions’” ribbon group in the Unity client Item Viewer tab, the “Print” button also allows you to save the current Dashboard View as a PDF or image file (PNG, JPEG or TIFF). By default the image is saved as a PNG file.
You can even archive the current view directly into OnBase as a PNG file. The “Upload” option includes the ability to automatically save a Dashboard or Report as an image and import it directly into OnBase. This is a handy option if you need a snapshot of the data for historical purposes.
In addition to the current Dashboard or Report view, individual Dashboard Items can also be saved as a PDF or Image file. This makes it easy to include individual visual elements from a specific dashboard in separately created reports for executives, stakeholders and more. This functionality is available from both the Unity and Web clients.
