Hello to our valued OneContent Mobile Deficiency Completion (MDC) customers! In this blog post below, you will find information about how to update your solution to ensure you are operating on the most recent version, and your clinicians and physicians are fully supported.

Since joining the Hyland family, we are integrating systems and working to limit interruptions for customers while providing support along the way. Our goal is to help you make the most of your investment and exceed your potential.

Updating your OneContent MDC 1.3 solution

Hyland will release OneContent Mobile Deficiency Completion (MDC) 1.3 on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. You will be able to download this new version from the Apple Store upon its release. Due to the acquisition of OneContent, if a physician upgrades to the latest OneContent MDC application, they will neither have access to the keychain nor have access to the application beyond the PIN screen.

Here’s what you need to know to update your solution to help ensure the physicians have continued access to their deficiencies page:

  • We encourage each facility’s Information Technology department to notify all physicians that an update is forthcoming in the Apple Store, and to bring in their devices for reconfiguration.
  • IT departments should remove the physicians’ original account in MDC and recreate it.
  • Once the account is recreated, the physician will regain access to their deficiencies.

Below are the prerequisites for updating to OneContent MDC 1.3:

  • iOS version 10.3
  • Network connectivity to the OneContent Integration Server for your facility; includes cellular network or Wi-Fi access
  • A valid physician OneContent Patient Folder login
  • Contact your OneContent Patient Folder system administrator for details
