Device Registration
Device Registration provides an extra layer of security for those organizations that require it. It provides an implementation of two-factor authentication, currently only supported with Active Directory. With every login, it authenticates both the device with the organizations network and the user account with OnBase. The first time a user connects to an OnBase Mobile Broker configured for Device Registration, they will be prompted to register their device by entering in required Active Directory account information. An email notification is then sent to either the OnBase Administrator or the end user themselves, with a link that allows them to register the device.
