You probably have a strategy in place for capturing your paper-based documents–but what about those that come to you electronically? All too often, your users may be tempted to print that document just to scan it in to OnBase, bringing back all the pains (and cost) of paper ! Whether these documents are attached in an email, accessed through a web portal, or even output from a 3rd party system, your users can use Virtual Print Driver (VPD) to import them into OnBase. If they know how to print documents to an ordinary office printer, they’ll have no problem further eliminating paper-based delays by sending documents directly into OnBase with VPD.
