Hello everyone,

A new version of Configuring Epic for OnBase is available for existing Epic Integration customers. For those unfamiliar with the document, Configuring Epic for OnBase is a guide containing the relevant information for setting up the Epic system to work with OnBase at our various integration points. It also contains some information on certain best practices and processes that we do within each Epic application.

Who can get this document?

This document is available for current Epic and OnBase customers only.

How do I get this document?

You can receive this document from your Hyland Customer Success Advisor (CSA), implementation team, or sales account executive.

What changes are included in this version?

  • New information on how to limit scanning encounter types from Media Manager (including Galaxy documentation links)
  • Clarifications over the new Epic August 2019 FDI record settings for encryption and encryption keys
  • Additional clarity for the ROI Web Service
  • Removed RCM section and updated broken links.

How do I know what version of the guide I have?

On the main title page there is a date. This is the version. This most recent document will say ‘February 2020'. This guide is not just applicable to the Epic February 2020 release, but is updated to include information from that release as well as those prior.

Also as a reminder, be sure to check on this post for how to update you Epic settings to support OnB...

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks!

Julia
