At Hyland, we regularly assess our product offerings to ensure they serve customer needs, meet industry requirements and align with our market focus. After careful review, Hyland has chosen to sunset Document Composition in the thick client.
Sunset information and support
The Document Composition product end-of-life date for the thick client is Friday, December 31, 2021. OnBase Foundation Enhancement Pack 5 will be the last version to test, offer and support this module. Existing customers who remain on supported versions will still receive support based on their maintenance agreements and Hyland’s Foundation Software Maintenance and Support Policy.
Replacement options
Customers who own Document Composition can still use this module in the OnBase web and unity clients. A unity or web client license will be needed, and a desktop host will be required for preview and editing capabilities in Document Composition in the HTML web client. Please reach out to your customer success advisor for additional support if needed.
