What is SAP S/4HANA and how does it impact the OnBase integration?
If you are an OnBase customer or partner that works with SAP, the SAP S/4HANA product has already entered your road map. SAP S/4HANA is the next-generation business suite for SAP customers, and SAP is actively encouraging migration to the new platform. Here at Hyland we have been testing the OnBase Integration for SAP ArchiveLink with SAP S/4HANA to determine compatibility of the current integration methods and measure the impact on our customers.
Support for the OnBase Integration for SAP ArchiveLink with SAP S/4HANA (on-premise)
We are excited to announce that Hyland Quality Assurance has completed validation of the OnBase integration with S/4 HANA on-premise using ArchiveLink. We are committed to supporting the integration between OnBase and ArchiveLink in S/4 HANA, with consideration for the following limitations:
- The OnBase Integration is designed to leverage ArchiveLink, so that must be part of the solution for the integration to function.
- SAP users must be running the SAP GUI or SAP GUI for HTML.
- BIC may only be used with output types using the NACE transaction. SAP does not currently support sending IDOCs externally via BRF+.
