Giving kids sugar makes them hyper.  When my kids were young, it didn't matter if they had sugar or not.  If they were excited about something, they were hyper regardless the amount of sugar.

Eating local honey helps you overcome local allergies.  Sounds like it makes sense but its false.  However, I still like local honey better than the stuff you get at costco.

Where were you when I needed you as a kid????? We would go to the grocery store and we begged our mom for "Sugar Cereal" like Frosted Flakes, Captain Crunch, etc... But it was always 'No'.  So we suffered through Cheerios, Rice Chex and Rice Krispies.  OHHHHH the humanity!!!!

WOW, I didn't know this one!   It's also funny because it goes along with @Kimberly Kelly 's comment.  As kids the only sweetener we were allowed to use was honey.  
Now, I'm suddenly desiring some fresh honey!
