New Install Not Working

Hi,

Just setting up a new server as a test env.  When i've setup the x64 bit install I can't login, it doesnt recognise the admin password and also the :8080/alfresco dir isnt viewable through a browser.  Any ideas?  Tried un-installing and re-installing but to no avail. 
Just get the message of

"The remote server may be unavailable or your authentication details have not been recognized"

Schoolboy error.  changed the linux hostname before adding dns entry to ad.  When alfresco tried to login it was trying to talk to something that wasnt registered on the AD network.  That'll teach me not the read the log file before posting.  lesson learnt!
