Since launch last October, Hyland has continued to enhance the solution with new capabilities designed to make employee information even more accessible, actionable and valuable within the flow of work.

Recent updates expand content access options, introduce intelligent knowledge discovery capabilities and extend availability to customers in the European Union.

Unlock Knowledge Directly Within HR Workflows

HR teams are often asked to answer questions, locate policies, research employee information and resolve service requests quickly. Finding the right information can be challenging when knowledge is spread across multiple repositories, systems and documents.

With the June 2026 release, users can now launch Hyland Knowledge Discovery directly from the Hyland for SAP SuccessFactors application.

This enhancement provides HR users with a seamless path from their SuccessFactors experience into Hyland Knowledge Discovery, allowing them to locate relevant information without navigating between multiple systems. Rather than interrupting their workflow to search elsewhere, users can access intelligent knowledge discovery capabilities directly from the environment where they already manage employee information.

The result is faster access to information, improved productivity and quicker resolution of HR service requests.

Supporting Global Organizations with EU Availability

The September 2026 release introduces a significant enhancement that helps achieve exactly that goal.

Organizations can now access employee documents stored in OnBase through Content Federation Services (CFS) directly from the Content Innovation Cloud-based Hyland for SAP SuccessFactors application.

With the appropriate permissions and configuration, authorized users can:

• Access employee documents stored in OnBase
• Search for documents directly within the Hyland for SAP SuccessFactors experience
• View OnBase content alongside Content Innovation Cloud content
• Continue leveraging existing OnBase repositories without requiring content migration

This enhancement extends the application's existing Content Innovation Cloud support and provides organizations with greater flexibility in how they manage and access employee content.

For organizations with established OnBase environments, this means they can continue using their trusted repository while delivering a modern and integrated HR content experience within SAP SuccessFactors.
