upgrade to SQL 2008 R2

We are planning a SQL server upgrade from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008 R2.  As far as OnBase is concerned is it as simple as 'copying' the database from the SQL 2005 server to the SQL 2008 R2 server and then updating the ODBC DSN to point to the 2008 R2 database?  I'm not a DBA so any input is appreciated.  Thanks!

Hi Adam,

I'm trying to click your link to the documentation and it is not working. Would you mind reposting that document?

Thanks!

Thanks so much, Adam.

This is for OnBase version 9.2 upgrading SQL Server 2005 to SQLSever 2008 R2.

The 9.2 System Admin guide indicates that SQLSever 2008 R2 is supported for 9.2.

The upgrading OnBase Reference Guide for 11 shows that SQLSever 2008 R2 is supported with version 11 and later.

Can you verify for me if SQLSever 2008 R2 is/is not supported with 9.2?

Thanks very much!
