Here's what you need to know about this transition, what to expect, and what happens next.
Effective Oct 9 at 7:00 pm ET: Connect is in read-only mode
Starting now, you'll still be able to access and read existing content in Connect, but you won't be able to create new posts, reply to discussions, or add new content. This temporary freeze will remain in place until the new experience is unveiled on Monday, October 19.
This read-only period allows our team to safely migrate existing discussions, posts, and other content into the new Hyland Community experience. We're also working to preserve existing links through redirects so that valuable information remains accessible.
Monday, October 19, 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time
We'll launch the new Hyland Community experience, bringing together announcements, blogs, discussion forums, user groups, product resources, and links to the broader Hyland digital ecosystem.
At that time, Connect will be retired and all community activity will move to the new Community platform. Your access will be restored, and you'll be able to participate, post, and engage as you do today—just in a better, more intuitive experience.
Your discussions, posts, memberships, and connections are coming with us.
All existing user groups, conversations, and community content will be migrated to the new Community, along with all their posts, discussions, and memberships. The functionality you rely on today in Connect will also carry over to the new experience.
In other words, we're not starting over. We're moving the community you've already built into a better home. What you can do today will continue to be available when the new Community launches—just through a different front door and a more intuitive experience.
The new experience has been shaped by feedback we've been hearing from community members for quite some time. You want an environment that's easier to navigate, where information is easier to find, conversations are more accessible, and you don't have to spend unnecessary time hunting for resources.
For those of you who participated in our beta testing, we hope you've already seen how that feedback has influenced what we're building.
Ultimately, technology should make it easier for communities to thrive, not get in the way of the connections that make them valuable.
We want to be transparent here. Whenever you migrate a large amount of content and change the structure of a digital experience, there will inevitably be things that need attention.
Our team will be actively looking for those issues and working to resolve them as quickly as possible. We're counting on your feedback to help us identify anything we may have missed.
We aren't approaching Monday, October 19 as the finish line. We're approaching it as the beginning of a better experience that we'll continue improving together.
We're working to make Hyland's digital ecosystem feel more connected and intuitive, so you can easily move between community, support, documentation, learning, and other important resources without having to figure out where everything lives.
As part of this evolution, we're also introducing a new experience at support.hyland.com, where you can create and manage support cases, access support resources, and manage services projects. We have much more planned, and we'll continue sharing updates as these capabilities evolve.
Our longer-term vision is a digital experience that feels like one connected Hyland, rather than a collection of separate websites and tools.
Your participation, engagement, and willingness to share what works and what doesn't are what make our community successful. The platform is simply there to support the connections you've helped build.
If you have questions, concerns, or encounter issues during this transition, please share your feedback with us. We are accepting feedback through our support case submission form throughout the transition. We're committed to making this move as smooth as possible and to hearing what matters to you.
Thank you for being part of the Hyland community. We're excited about what we're building together and look forward to seeing our community continue to thrive in this new experience starting Monday, October 19.
