Yaco would like to contribute (aka improving REST interface)

Hi.

Yaco developers (msaelices, antoniomaria/asanchez, erny1803/Ernesto Revilla) would like to contribute:

* ACT-947: Retrieve process variables through REST interface
* ACT-946: Category in ProcessDefinition REST Response
* ACT-945: Enable creating new users through rest interface
* ACT-959: Retrieve process diagram through rest interface by processDefinitionId
* ACT-960: Retrieve active task list from processInstanceId
All issues have patches attached.

Beside this we have already the following for REST API, but JIRA issues are still not created:
* Create Tasks and substasks
* Return processDefinitionId for each task
* Get process definition & tasks
* Reassign tasks
* Save variables in history patch

Beside this, we may like to contribute authentication with proxy user, much like Alfresco or the usual master user in IMAP.

Best regards.
Erny

Hi,

Great, I think we should be able to get your accounts ready for next week or so.
Keep you posted.

Hi.

Finally we have svn account (although I still didn't test commits) and our Alfresco collaboration agreements are already processed and accepted by Alfresco.

Should we create a branch (e.g. yaco) or would it be better to fork elsewhere, like on github (e.g.: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/796991/fork-and-synchronise-google-code-subversion-repository-int... )

Regards
Erny

A branch or patch linked to the jira issue is the preffered way.

Thanks for fixing ACT-947, that's exactly what I've been looking for! Now if only the same could be done for historic details…
I actually just posted a question here: http://forums.activiti.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3449 - could this be done via REST?

Well, we made a patch previous to the one of trademak by creating another REST resource. But trademak seems to implement this on 2011-12-02 as part of ProcessInstanceResource. I don't know if the documentation is up to date.

Regards.
