Web Content Install

I am interested in using the community edition for web content and thus for a web site deployment.   I have no need for records management and generic document management.    Which is the best set of install files to go with.  The full install and ignore what I don't need or a selection of web site CMS installers.
Thus I need to be able to have content editing, web deployment, content migration (I guess).

Any thoughts to guide me.?

Well,

Install Alfresco without Share Point Protocol Support, and Record Management, i mean custom install or as i prefer use based text installation. After that, evaluates which other services you need (IMAP, FTP, WEBDAV, CIFS) and configure the necesaries, having CIFS and WEBDAV are automatically installed.

I hope it help you.

If you'd like to use Web Quick Start then also select that component when running the installer.

Maybe try to install the alfresco that without sharing the point protocol support. I think it will work the web content installation in your computer. If does not work, try to re download maybe there are some file that corrupt while you having downloading.
