update Language

Hi guys;
Wondering what session or cookie Alfresco uses to decide what language property file to use?

I have found this post:https://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=23395  but it seems much more complicated.

Context: I have a webapp that pulls it's main container context from Alfresco webscripts.  These webscripts uses property files to decide the copy.

Need a way to update the language Alfresco is delivering content in.
