Trouble updating cmis:lastModifiedBy document property

I am using Apache Chemistry OpenCMIS with Alfresco 5.1e and I need to set PropertyIds.LAST_MODIFIED_BY (cmis:lastModifiedBy) property during creation of a document or to update it after the creation of the document.  This property seems to be read only.  Is there a way to set or update this property?

I don't think so it is possible via CMIS because it is part of audit trial properties. If you want to change them then you need to disable audit aspect then modify the properties and enable the audit aspect again. And this can be achieved via behaviours but by using CMIS.
During the file upload you can trigger the behaviours… do your modifications. I hope this will help you.
