Retain content in repository on deletion

Hi,

In WCM, in Change request workflow, when the task comes to user and if user choses to delete the content, another workflow is launched which deletes the content from user sandbox and staging sandbox, which means on deployment, content would be deleted from published target site.

My requirement is that content should be deleted from the published target site, but content should somewhere be archived in repository instead of permanent deletion from repository. That is, it should be moved to some other space.

I hope I am clear in my requirement. Please provide your inputs to achieve this.

Thanks and Regards

Even though you have deleted your content it will remain in the AVM version history, you could "undelete" your content at any time.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing.
If you could provide some more information, I would like to know which AVMService should I use to access AVM History, and then how can I copy that content to some other space.
Basically at the end of workflow, the content should be deleted from all sandbox and deployment target but simultaneously copied to some other space.

If it makes some sense, then I would want, to now move that content to DM repository.

Thanks for helping.
