Hi, I'm in the process of setting up a server on the community edition, and have run into a wall.
What I would like to do is have one group of users being able to read and edit documents, while another group is able to read, edit and add new documents.
The default roles Editor and Collaborator seem perfect for this, but when I go to set roles (during Invite) in Share, there is no option to select Editor.
Is this intended, and if so, how do I go about making the Editor role available?

Okay, since nobody knows if this is intended let me try another angle. Has anyone actually been able to activate the Editor role?

If you set permissions in the Explorer client (/alfresco) you could override the permissions given by the Share roles.
So in your case you could for instance invite users as Site Consumers in Share, then you go to the Explorer client, locate the site in question and invite users to the documentLibrary space as Editors. That way the users should get Editor permissions for all documents and spaces in the document library of the specified site.
Please note that I haven't tried this out myself with the actual roles, but I have used the same principle with other roles.
