Hi all,
I'm a very newbie in the alfresco world. I like it so much but I'm so confused about some differences of its features (navigator, share, wcm, etc..)
So my question is: how do you (or your clients) use alfresco? I read about a customized interface or a specific web application able to call web services provided by alfresco.
So on….how do you upload files? do you using a simple drag&drop (using ftp, cifs or webdav protocol) or a specific application ?
I'm just reading some books, but i I hope anybody can solve this first questions in my alfresco experience.
Thanks so much in advance

Hi,
Usually I use Alfresco through the Share interface. If I need to upload several documents at a time I use FTP.
But the way to use Alfresco depends on what do you want to do and what are your client's needs.
I'm a bit newbie too.
Cheers,
Jordi.

Hi,
before all thanks for your reply.
What's the advantage provided by share? Why don't you use the explorer functionalities?
Thanks for your time

Hi,
In my opinion the Share interface is more user friendly, and it has almost all the functionalities available in Explorer (plus all the social ones).
I recommend you to test both interfaces to see which best suits your needs.
You may find this post useful too.
Cheers,
Jordi.
