Mass download functionality

Hello everybody,
I have a question for Alfresco DMS in version 3.2R2 (Community Version). Is it possible to download several document (mass download functionality). Actually I don`t find any configuration in my installed version. In my view this functionality is  a basic feature. Therefore I can not really imagine that this functionality is not given in Alfresco.

Using one of the Virtual File System interfaces this is possible out-of the-box. For example, using FTP, WebDAV, or CIFS.

Alternatively, you could write a webscript that ZIPs a group of specified files, and downloads that to the user.

You have the option of uploading multiple documents, but for downloading multiple documents in a folder you can use the export functionality in web client, by clicking view details option from webclient
