Hi,

I'm a newbe of Alfresco, I downloaded and installed the last version of Community Edition with success. I added LDAP-AD Authentication and create a CIFS Server to export Alfresco's folders.

My new target is to mount in Alfresco's folders ( Company Home) a new mount point linked to external CIFS server and use the shared folder ( Ex. \\serverExt\publicFolder ) into Alfresco .

Is it possible making it ? the top is using permession of external CIFS ( use like LDAP-AD configured in Alfresco )…

Thanks A lot.
Best Regards.

I think to understand it is not possible because I also must use roles / actions to add aspects.

It's right ?

Thanks a lot.

If you have configured a space/folder in Alfresco to apply a rule (like applying an aspect or run action), then copying of contents into that particular folder via CIFS will apply the aspects accordingly. So basically you don't need to do anything when copying through CIFS, after copying you will get to see the properties of it on web-client .
