How to get the import channel of a document

We are looking to find the import channel property of a document.

By import channel, we means by which channel the document has been created in Alfresco (Web interface, CIFS, Webdav, IMAP, ….)

We did not find any solution / documentation on this

But what would be interesting would be to know WHAT you are trying to do rather than HOW.   What is special about "input channel" and what do you want to be different depending upon the channel used to upload a document?

In fact this field will be more for the records (to know that this file has been imported by Alfresco Web, CIFS, IMAP, SMTP, OCR, …). But actions could derived from this additional field. Example, if it is an OCR document, send to a review workflow to detect digitalization problems.
