how to add a dashlet to alfresco explorer

Hi team,
I want to add a dashlet to the explorer i.e along with "browse spaces" and "content items".
generally i can choose a custom template but there are two problems i want to add a dashlet to all the users permanently.
that is controlling of this dahslet should be with admin only!!!
generally after login to the alfresco all users should see this dashlet.

Can i add any google gadgets to the explorer not for the share ?

can anyone tell me where i can configure it.

remember dashlet is for explorer not for "My Alfresco" dashboard.

It's a dashlet that you can add in the dashboard ? no? (enter in the configuration of the dashboard)

Actually what i'm looking for is, i want to add another window for explorer i.e along with "Browse Spaces" window and
"Content Items" window. let us say the purpose of new window is displaying preview of images.
that if any space having the images then the below of "Content Items" window there is one more window which shows the preview of the above images when we click on.

This is what i want exactly.
Is it possible with alfresco explorer?

I have not done this… but we can try to speak about…

You need to :

Create a customBrowse.jsp ( /jsp/browse/browse.jsp this is the page displaying the "Browse Spaces" window and "Content Items") You can copy it and modify…
Add some navigation rules (overriding faces-configs.xml or web-client-config-custom.xml to say that the "browse" is not /jsp/browse/browse.jsp, but /jsp/extension/customBrowse.jsp )
