The fileServersNG module replaces the standard file server module with an updated file server that supports the SMB2 and SMB3 protocols, that also includes support for hardware accelerated SMB3 encryption and high strength encryption for Kerberos authentication.
The latest fileServersNG version adds the File Explorer Menu for Alfresco Windows application that adds a File Explorer context menu with customisable actions that are executed on the Alfresco server. The actions can be scripted using Javascript, or you can write Java actions. The actions have full access to Alfresco services. Actions return a result to the client which can then display a message box, show a notification, open a URL and/or run an application on the client.
The latest fileServersNG module works with Alfresco 6.2, 7.x and 23.x.
