Hide files and folders in Share

We store our photo library (Apple's iPhoto) on Alfresco. The image database is a folder with many different subfolders, links, and db files. I want to give read-only access to the 'Masters' folder which contains the images and hide all the rest in Share, though make them accessible via webdav for the user that is creating and editing images using the iPhoto app.

Is there a way to hide all except one particular folder in Share so that the files don't show up in browsing, on modified files listings or on searches :?:

Hi,

There is a way that I've used before. You can actually use alfresco explorer interface (not Share) to fine tune the permissions, removing the inheritance for the folders to hide. This way only the owner and the admin can see them.

A second way that I've not tested it yet is by adding a system aspect named "sys:hidden". As I said, I'm still to test this one and only know about it because I've noticed it on alfresco's users search being re-written with "NOT ASPECT:"sys:hidden" added to the original query
