Hello,
I try the FTP services from ALfresco, and seems to work fine but…
I created the user "joe" and assigned a space "users". This user "joe" within the web client only have access to the space "users" as it should be. However when use FTP with the user "joe", the user can see all the spaces in alfresco. This shouldn't happen, I'm I rigth?

Very old thread, but in case it helps someone else, yes, the permissions on a folder should be honored regardless of how a user access the repository–through FTP, WebDAV, CIFS, IMAP, CMIS, or one of the web clients–they should always have the same access across all.
