Hello

Fresh installation of alfresco 4.2.d on CentOS fails. alfresco.log is attached

This issue has been asked many times on the forum and the problem seems to be related to host name resolution.
If that's the case, what should I expect after changing my /etc/hosts file?
Restarting alfresco does absolutely nothing, the error is just logged once after the installation is complete and never again.

I fixed it. and yes I had to reinstall just because I had an incorrect IP address in my /etc/hosts.

In my opinion lack of proper documentation is the root cause.
how am I supposed to know that my test VM needs to have a FQDN prior to installation?
