Feature request: Task management

Hi,

We are evaluating Alfresco right now and as always we would like to see some new features and extra functionalities that are important to us.

One of these features is task management.

Which documents require my attention, assigning tasks to other people, maybe even some collaboration possibilities, etc.

There is no such thing in the Alfresco system at this point (if I'm right) and I was wondering if there are any plans on implementing task management functionalities in the future?

+ 1 on this one, we are also VERY interested in this functionality.

This is certainly on the list of things to do - we're thinking about it in the more general way of list management, where you could define the structure or type of a list item. 

Looking at what we need to do in the next couple of months, it isn't going to happen in that timeframe, but it is high on the list of collaboration feature we want to start adding in.

We pretty much know what we need to do - it follows a similar pattern to the new forums/discussion stuff coming in the end of month release.

Thanks Paul, would be nice to put it in the roadmap and add a timeframe for all these functionalities but can see there's a lot more work to be done.
