Standard JBoss deployment cookbook

Hello everybody,

I installed Alfresco successfully and it looks fantastic !
But on my machine I've already a standard JBoss deployment with a CRM application. Both, Alfresco's JBoss and Standard JBoss, can't run at the same time.

Is anywhere a guideline how to integrate Alfresco in a JBoss 4.0.2 standard deployment ?
Which files/dirs have to copy to JBOSS_HOME ?

Here are the instructions for deploying to a JBoss 4.0.2 (no portal!) installation from Alfresco downloaded source:

Thank you, Kevin, for the instructions.

I've deployed alfresco from source on WinXP and Linux sucessfully. Both work ok so far.
But on JBoss I can't see the 'server\default\deploy\jboss-portal.sar' directory.
Is this necessary ?

Glad to hear it works, thanks for letting us know. That directory is only part of JBossPortal so isn't present on plain JBoss.
