Hi All,
Im using alfresco3.4.1 and my business needs is to disable alfresco existing content types like Article & content and enable my own content types while uploading a content.
can anyone help me out??

Hi Sharma,
As long as you have already created and deployed your custom content models to Alfresco (NB: See http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Data_Dictionary_Guide#Step_by_Step_Model_Definition for a write-up on how to do this), you just have to tell Alfresco which types to display or not by modifying its Web Client settings. Information on how to do this has been posted at http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Displaying_Custom_Metadata.
Information on how to customize the Alfresco Explorer interface to display custom content types, etc. can also be found in the following books:
