Hello,
We want to add Alfresco into a JOOMLA 1.5 website in order to get Document Management.
However, does Alfresco require a separate DataBase?
How does JOOSCO solve this problem?

Alfresco does require a database, although it can be hosted on the same database server as other applications' databases.  In other words if you already have a MySQL database server configured, Alfresco can use that same server.

Peter

O.K. Thank You!  😎

Could anyone please elaborate a bit on how JOOSCO tackles the issues between JOOMLA & Alfresco?
:?: (e.g. does an installation of JOOSCO replaces a separate Alfreco installation?)

We're testing JOOMLA 1.5 on a Linux Fedora - Apache MySQL PHP server in order to find out if the Dokman extension was sufficient.
It looks like we'll need Alfresco 2.1.1 in order to fulfill our teachers' needs…
Thanks in advance,
Phill

Can anyone point out a good resource for Alfresco installation & usage?
:?:

This is unavailble for non-clients I presume:
