Creating a web site without programming skill

Hi,

I'm using Alfresco 3.4d and I'm quite lost among all the features available. I understand the repository and document management aspect.

What I don't understand, is how can I create a very simple web page to display the documents I have in my repository.

I was expecting to get an interface that do not require any programming skill (e.g. like Microsoft Frontpage). If I understand well, it was the case with 'Web Studio', but it has been removed.

So, my question is: how can I create and customize without any programming skill a very simple 'hello world' web page using Alfresco, and then how can I configure it to display the document I have in the document repository?

Thanks a lot  Smiley Happy

If you are looking for non-technical web content management, your choices are:

- Alfresco Web Quick Start. Note: This will use Share for content managers. For the front-end web site you'll start with the example web application that is based on Spring.
- Drupal plus Alfresco integration (or a similar front-end of your choice, like Liferay)
- A partner-developed solution like Rivet's Crafter

Alfresco, by itself, is definitely not meant to be a non-technical web content management tool where you just turn it on and you've got a web site.
