create multi root space in alfresco !!!

hi !!

I'm researching alfresco. i want to create more root space .

after setup alfresco finish. we'll have [COMPANY HOME], [MY HOME],[GUEST HOME],[MY ALFRESCO]

This is a default space of alfresco.

i want to create new space like [COMPANY HOME] and it is also a root space. 

plse help if someone know

Hi,
if you take a deeper look into the Alfresco repository structure you'll see that Guest Home and User Homes are normally a subspace of Company Home. My Alfresco isn't a real space at all. So, the Alfresco web client is the point where you have dive into. But as far as I know there isn't a out of the box configuration option for the root nodes of the navigation tree/accordion.
Or do you really want to have a company home sibling? I don't recommend that.

i want to build my alfresco tree like that.

- My Company Home  (root node )
        + space1
        + space2
        …………
        + spaseN

- Document Space (same level of the [Company Home] and same level of [Guest Home] and [My alfresco])
        + space1
        + space2
        …………
        + spaseN

When i login to alfresco admin or some user. they can see the structure like that.

Now, when i create new space the new space alway in [My Company Home]. I want to create a space with the same level to [My Company Home]

Hi,
as I said before, I don't recommend that… why?
Company Home should be the root for all spaces  (User Homes, Guest Home) including your document space, this is IMHO best practice.
What you'd like to achieve is more a presentation topic. Your web client customization should cover this issue and display Document Space as an item in the navigator accordion and as a link on the top.

i see your idea.

so, i have just created a new space after that i'll customize the menu link in the right side of the alfresco admin cp. And set the link for my space.

when i click the link in the right side., the browser will be forward to my space

is it right ?
