Copying content with content rules

Hi,
first of all i'm a newbie for Alfresco. I'm trying to test it. I've created a content rule in order to copy an uploaded content from one space to another. It works fine, but the name of the copied file is changed (it becomes something like a GUID). I suppose there's a reason for it but is it possible to avoid it? I mean, is it possible to configure Alfresco to have copies with the same name in the different spaces?
Hope i've explained well my problem.
Thanks in advance.

Hi

Which version are you using?  I believe this is fixed in the 1.4 Release Candidate.

Cheers
Paul.

I've downloaded and locally installed the 1.4 release candidate, the one you are referring to, i suppose.
And i'm having also problem in creating an email rule content. Using the wizard, everything seems to work: i can set the user Alfresco will send an email to if an item is added to the space. If i navigate somewhere else and then get back to edit the rule again, i get a java.lang.NullPointerException.

Hope you can help me, i'm going mad!!!!

I am using Alfresco 1.4 Preview release.

I am having same issue as mentioned above when using Copy in Simple workflow.

File is copied correctly, but name is changing to GUID.

Am I missing something or is it still a open bug ?

Let me know asap. Thanks

This is a separate bug:
http://issues.alfresco.com/browse/AWC-962
but this one is fixed:
http://issues.alfresco.com/browse/AWC-917

The other will be fixed for the next Community drop.

Thanks,

Kevin
