basic LDAP help

i want to make my alfresco (community 4.0) more user friendly to my active directory community.  Started here:

but that file doesn't exist in the directory specified, very new at this so if someone can point me in the right direction much appreciated.

I would start by looking at http://docs.alfresco.com/4.0/topic/com.alfresco.enterprise.doc/concepts/auth-ldap-intro.html.  It is specific to version 4.
